🏛️ Proposals That Went to Vote
GIP-150, the proposal asking whether GnosisDAO should let GNO holders redeem their pro-rata share of the treasury, closed on Snapshot, rejected by a roughly five-to-two margin. 601,848 GNO voted (comfortably above the 75,000 quorum), with 95 unique voters participating between 25 May and 1 June. The substantive challenges raised in the forum were not resolved before the vote opened, and the result suggests the holders were not persuaded they would be.

Nethermind Year 1 grant update published
Nethermind posted its Year 1 progress report against GIP-126, covering June 2025 to May 2026. The update covers the Balancer recovery fork (a validator-coordinated hard fork following the Balancer exploit), the Fusaka rollout, and ongoing execution-client work. The bulk of effort went into client maintenance rather than headline features, the kind of infrastructure work easily undervalued in a governance context.

📊 Product Ecosystem
Gnosis App. Alongside a UX refresh, the App team has focused on growth experiments. Overall users rose to 22,308 from 20,198, and median DAU moved from 842 to 994 between April and May, an 18.1% increase, with WAU up similarly. Circles is now fully integrated into the App experience.
Gnosis Pay. As of June 1st, Gnosis Pay experienced an exploit due to a vulnerability in an ecosystem smart contract. This triggered a shutdown of operations. Prior to this, development on Gnosis Pay v2 had been progressing on schedule.
Gnosis Chain. Nethermind published post-mortems for both the DappNode issues during the Pectra hard fork and the Balancer exploit recovery fork - both validator and community actions, documented to help operators prepare for future upgrades. Gnosis Chain recorded 6.58M transactions in May (–5.9% MoM).
Gnosis VPN. Gnosis VPN is a decentralized VPN powered by the HOPR mixnet, designed as a privacy guardian for Gnosis and its products. Q1 2026 was a period of intensive development and testing focused on production stability, platform compatibility, and UX polish. The first version, codenamed Atlantis, is in closed testing but will be available to try at DappCon.

Gnosis AI. The prediction-market agent tooling shipped a cross-chain bridge integration enabling Polymarket agents to auto-bridge xDAI from Gnosis to Polygon via CoW Protocol when funds are insufficient, meaning agents can now self-fund across chains without manual intervention.
