As Gnosis continues its journey toward full-stack decentralization, the DAO has been active in March with several key governance proposals, the ongoing delegate program, and exciting community events on the horizon. Here's a roundup of the month's highlights.

GIP-122: Support for Gnosis VPN Development

GnosisDAO has approved GIP-122, which reached quorum on Snapshot on March 12, 2025, with an overwhelming 98% approval rate. This proposal allocates $4.8 million and 500 GNO tokens to the HOPR Association over the next 24 months to develop Gnosis VPN from its current proof-of-concept into a market-ready product.

Gnosis VPN is a trustless, decentralized, and uncensorable VPN service built on top of the HOPR network, Gnosis Chain, and Circles v2. The proof-of-concept demonstrated performance far exceeding expectations, with speeds 100x higher than initially targeted. The development roadmap includes:

• Releasing an unrestricted proof-of-concept within 6 months.
• Delivering a minimum viable product within 9 months.
• Launching version 1.0 within 18 months.
• Completing version 2.0 within 24 months

This initiative aligns perfectly with the Gnosis 3.0 vision of onboarding more users to the ecosystem while providing a much-needed privacy solution in today’s digital landscape. The Block highlighted this as a significant move for Gnosis, noting that the VPN could launch within two years, further solidifying Gnosis’s role in building foundational tools for the crypto ecosystem.

🗳️ GIP-123: Should GnosisDAO Adopt and Support Curia Labs' Governance Monitoring Service in 2025?

This Phase 1 proposal explores whether GnosisDAO should adopt Curia Labs' governance monitoring service to enhance transparency and efficiency in its governance processes. The service offers real-time analytics, proposal tracking, and delegate performance metrics, which could empower the community with better decision-making tools. The proposal suggests a 12-month pilot program with a budget of $1.2 million to integrate and test the service.

📊 GIP-124: Should GnosisDAO Fund the GnosisGov Navigator, a Governance and Delegate Dashboard?

In Phase 2 on the Gnosis Forum, GIP-124 proposes funding the GnosisGov Navigator, a governance and delegate dashboard. This tool aims to provide a user-friendly interface for tracking proposals, delegate activities, and voting history, fostering greater transparency and engagement.

🚀👥 Delegate Program Update

The GnosisDAO Delegate Program, coordinated by StableLab and karpatkey, has successfully onboarded its first cohort of delegates to strengthen governance. Launched in February, the program aimed to onboard 10 dedicated delegates to improve proposal quorum, increase community engagement, and enhance governance processes.

Each delegate has received a 5k GNO delegation to represent the community's interests. GNO tokenholders are encouraged to engage with these delegates, delegate their voting power, and participate in shaping GnosisDAO's future.
