Updates from teams funded by the GnosisDAO are rolling in after a formal request was made for routine check-ins. To ensure transparency moving forward, GIP authors will be required to provide updates about the progress of their funded efforts.

GIP-76: Set up a legal entity controlled and owned by the DAO? Phase-2 Proposal

This is a proposal to set up a legal entity (in the form of an LLC) owned by a GnosisDAO wallet that enables the GnosisDAO to interact with business partners with an incorporated entity.

GIP-75: Should GnosisDAO retroactively fund POKT-powered Public RPC endpoints for Gnosis Chain pruned and Gnosis Chain archival? Phase-2 Proposal

By sponsoring a pokt-powered Public Gnosis Chain RPC endpoint, GnosisDAO and Pocket Network would continue to contribute to the decentralization, increased resiliency, and censorship-resistance of the Gnosis Chain network. All the while, continuing to incentivize Gnosis Chain node runners with $POKT tokens for serving Gnosis dapps.

Public RPCs are a public good, we hope to share in the responsibility together with the GnosisDAO of maintaining these high-quality public goods on behalf of Gnosis Chain users. The Pocket Network team and community have been a long-time supporters of the Gnosis Chain.

Should GnosisDAO manage native bridge funds in a way that improves the Gnosis Chain ecosystem while managing risk properly? Phase-1 Proposal

This post is intended to generate a productive discussion about how to better utilize funds locked in native bridges. There are currently almost 31.4 MM DAI locked in xDai Bridge and $100+MM worth of crypto assets in Omni Bridge which generates 0% revenues, representing an opportunity cost for the Gnosis Chain ecosystem. If a reasonable portion of these assets was deposited in risk-managed strategies, the ecosystem could either get an additional cash-flow which enables further development, or improve the Gnosis Chain liquidity in a sustainable way.

“Humans of Gnosis” - an experimental Circles group currency

Circles (or CirclesUBI) is an application on Gnosis Chain that tries to implement a fair global currency based on the principle of UBI - money issuance is done as UBI (universal basic income). Each registered account gets 1 CRC each hour.

I am proposing here to start a list of “trusted Circles” accounts called “humans of Gnosis”. If the list proves to be useful entities that accept Circles will start using that list, basically saying, if your account is on the list, I will accept your Circles.

GIP-74: Should GnosisDAO support Gnosischa.in Explorer hosted by beaconcha.in? Voting Concluded Jan 12, 2023 ✅ Passed Quorum

Gnosischa.in is an open source explorer that provides users with an easy and accessible way to explore the gnosis-chain. One of the key features is the integration of both the consensus layer and the execution layer into a single explorer. This allows users to easily access and analyze data from both layers, providing a more comprehensive view of the Gnosis Chain. Additionally, it has a mobile app for stakers to monitor their validators & machines.
