Participation dropped from 96% to 90%, a display of strong coordination and a high participation rate from node runners and stakers. A huge thank you to all the node runners and stakers who updated accordingly. The Shapella upgrade was successful because of you!
Shapella enables withdrawals for staked GNO, marking a major milestone and significant step forward in the evolution of Gnosis Chain. Staking on Gnosis Chain allows you to participate in securing the network while earning rewards. Only 1 GNO is required and the process is user-friendly. Gnosis Chain is a community-run chain secured by thousands of at-home stakers around the world. It is a credibly neutral, resilient network owned and secured by the community of builders and users that utilize its infrastructure.
Gnosis Chain’s Beacon Chain architecture means that compatibility with Ethereum is locked in. All future EIPs can be implemented on Gnosis Chain. Gnosis Chain upgrades can also be implemented on Ethereum, should it prove to be valuable to the broader ecosystem.

Agnostic Relay - Enabling Bonded Optimistic Relaying
Agnostic Relay will be enabling bonded optimistic relaying very soon, using the MEV-Boost-Relay feature first introduced by the Ultra Sound Money Relay 2 team a few months ago. As this is an optional, opt-in feature, we are accepting collateral amounts of up to 1 ETH from builders in order to enable optimistic validation for their blocks.
To get started, follow these simple steps:
- Send a maximum of 1 ETH to the address “agnosticrelay.eth” from an on-chain account that is associated with your builder.
- After making the transaction, please reach out to us on Twitter DM or Agnostic Relay Telegram Channel with the following details:
- Transaction hash (txhash) of your collateral payment.
- Builder public key(s) of the builder that is opting in to optimistic validation.
Once you’ve completed these steps, you’ll be all set to participate in the Optimistic Relay.

Stop autoclaim for GC validators
Claiming of the GNO rewards is possible now and have already done by many of us manually, and shortly after that even an autoclaim bot was implemented to send the rewards to ppl that didn’t claim before and on irregular time intervalls also to all others for the rewards that accrued since last claim.
While the autoclaim is for sure a good idea, imo the implementation, cause it affects all validators, should be discussed here before. Time intervalls, in- or out-opt possibilities and minimal limits are just some parameters that should be discussed.
